Make your own puffy paint with the kids, they'll love to watch their paintings magically puff up!
Approximate Time: 15-20 minutes
Supplies:
6 tablespoon self rising flour
6 tablespoon salt
food coloring
water
cardboard
Instructions:
Directions:
1.Mix the flour, salt, and water (enough to form a paste) together until you have a thick paste.
2.Next separate some of the paste into different dishes or an old muffin tin works great.
3.Then add your food coloring.
4.You can use paint brushes or cotton swabs to paint onto the cardboard. Make sure you brush the paint on thick so that it will puff up when you're done.
5.Once you are finished painting place the cardboard picture in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.

How to make your own homemade puffy paint!
You’ll need to get some flour, salt, water and food coloring together, along with an easy work surface (a table or kitchen counter) and a bowl to mix your ingredients.
Mix equal parts of flour, salt and water. Add a few drops of your favorite food color. Use the empty squeeze bottle and fill it with the mixture. You can make several bottles of different colors!
Squeeze your designs onto paper or paper plates (or whatever you want to decorate—a box, seashells, plastic or wood shapes from a local art store) and the paint will dry puffy and textured! Fun-o-la!

Freezer Paint
FREEZER PAINT
Take an ice cube tray and pour tempera paint in the bottoms and keep placing different colors on top of each other.
When you are done with that place plastic wrap over the tray and put a craft stick in each one. Place in the freezer and PRESTO you have freezer paints! Fun, Fun, Fun
