A Big Texas Howdy

HHello everyone. I live in South Texas and there just aren't enough hours in the day for all my interests.
I work on a huge ranch in George West Texas where I collect petrified wood, jasper, agates, flint when I'm not tending to the livestock, fixing fence, hauling hay or one of a million other jobs around the ranch.
I also do woodcrafts, jewelry, and in my spare time, I volunteer at local nursing homes and retirement centers, playing keyboard music for them.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot and hopefully, make a lot of new friends.

Wow and WElcome
You are the first person who collects rocks other then myself to be in the group. I grew up on a farm and miss the simple life of farms and ranches. You are a very lucky lady. I do still get up at O dark hundred. Some of the girls play with wood. My hubby builds furniture and I just run the boards anymore. I used to do all kinds of crafts and try to put things on the board and blog site that sound like someone might use them. I try to send out todays updates through the emails every other day or so.
So a big welcome to the group Cindy !
