I don't know the real name for it, but around here, everyone calls them "Puffers". They puff up real, real big, and flatten out their head like a cobra. It coils up and the head is up and it makes a big puffing noise. And, yes, it's in snake heaven!

I am not familiar with your northen upper snakes.
I agree with Donna I dislike snake.
Comes from living with rattlers. I know there good for mice and such but not bad for hatbands and boots either.

I don't even want them for boots I hate them worse than any other animal on earth when I see one I don't stop chopping and beating until they are in pieces(LOL)
