Strawberry short/saltshaker

I painted this for my daughter..they had strawberryshortcake beds when they were little girls..I dont know if they liked her as much as I did,,but thought she would enjoy it..it is painted on an very Lg salt shaker..lol  |

that is adorable. what kind of paint do u use? i am not really a painter. would u consider a trade of some quilted postcards; your choice of theme/holiday?

Lifeboat..Thanks .its just painted with reg acrylic paint..I'm sorry to say that I already gave this to my daughter..and I told her what you had said,,and her reply was.I don't think soooooo...lol...
and I found that saltshaker at the goodwill store,but I was thinking maybe I could do light blub like that,,,but wont be able to do anything till it warms up alittle to cold to go outside and do any spraying right now.but will let post it when I get it done,;-)
and Brooke thats a good ideal,,am sure other ladies will have stuff that they make that they may want to trade,

ohh i didn't mean that specific one to trade, but wondered if u or anyone else painted on actual salt/pepper size shakers that i could display. my kitchen is decorated with a debbie mumm theme of coffee cups/teapots of blue, gold and red.

ok got it, have a few questions tho,,..lol.would you want it painted just in the colors r/and want the teapots/coffee pots on them as well,,the colors and dots would be very easy to do,,the coffeecup/pots would be little harder....but can try it,if we dont like it we can just paint over it again,,lol...I will go have a look around at the good will store this week and see what I can find ok,,just so i know do you want reg size are bigger one?..or what ever I can find??,lol

just regular size salt/pepper shakers to display on a windowsill. u could just paint dots/stripes or checker pattern in those colors like the pattern on the teacups stacked up or the yellow/blue coffee pot. would that be okay? i could make u an applique tea towel, your choice if u would rather.

ok that should eeasy to do then....and small saltshaker should be easy to find at the goodwill....as for the trade do you have a pic you can post here or even over at Hgtv that I can see,,,,I have never seen a quilted postcard?..

wow the cards are Beautiful!!! ....I will trade for one of them,,not sure which one you still have,,I think I can use them to put in my scarpbooks.....I will try and find the salt shaker and then see what we can do with them,,and if you like it we can trade;-))

Those postcards are great.
Tmarie we need a trade for hire section. Also I posted a weblink section.
We can get every member with a website , chat board or webspace listed for all in one spot.
Also the calender has the popcorn festival listed on it.
We need everyone to list onto the calendar the craft shows and times they know about.

well Ican tell ya right now,,the post card is going be more work,,but how about "one" postcard for "one" shaker..lol..I dont know,,I'm looking at them now and can't make up my mind which one I like best.. they are all so cute,,,,,,,lol

I love it. That is too cute. I have a neice that is 30 now and she has pretty red hair. She use to love Strawberry shortcake stuff.
