Hi Everyone-
I'm new here and this is a first for me. I have never joined a group like this, but it sounds like fun!
A bit about myself- I am originally from the great state of Iowa, but have been living in the St. Louis area for about 25 years. I am married and have 3 grown kids. My oldest son is married, my second child is another son, 24, and my daughter is the "baby" who is 22 and will graduate from college next month. We have 1 cat and a very spoiled weenie dog who is the queen of the house. I enjoy all types of crafts- which is sometimes a problem, because before I finish 1 thing, I see something else I would like to try!(The fairy jars are new to me and look very interesting!) But I always come back to sewing and I do enjoy crocheting. I have recently took up quilting. I have lots of blocks made, just need to get them all pulled together!
I work full time as a computer(I'm a Mac!) operator in the pre-press world. We work with magazine and textbook publishers and provide all the services required prior to them being printed. I love my job, but sometimes the hours are long and there are lots of deadlines to meet. I guess it's a good thing I enjoy it!
I'm hoping to get to know you all better. I am curious to know what all you do on this board besides chat? Do you do secret sister things and swaps and such?
