Hi I use cottonelle single ply. I put the layers on the mold or rubberstamp and wet it very, very well with a spray of water. I then use a stiff brush (a stencil brush) I have two sizes. I use the big inch one first and then a smaller 1/4 in to get the small details to show better. This pushes the wet paper into the details. Let it dry well and that is it. If I put chalk on I do not add anything, but I have also used paint on them and for that I put on a coat of Triple Thick clear acrilic spray.
I have also used a very light coat of mod podge and added glitter Good Luck

This is the lamb that has glitter on it. This rubberstamp was one of the rubberstamps I picked up at michaels in the kids department (like the turtle one) Oh the background is made with a cuttlebug folder but ran through my pasta maker.
