haha i just got my cuttlebug about a hr ago,,it is so fun getting stuff in the mail,,its like being a kid at x-mas,lol..anyway here is my 1st card i made with it!!  |

I dont have the cuttlebug, but did buy my grandson the cuttlekid. he loves cutting out the shapes and making cards and gifts for his mama, He is only 6 the love of my life and my craft buddy,

Does anyone know if you can emboss with the sizzix or do you need the cuttlebug? I love the looks of embossing. Nice job on the cards and continue to have fun.

not sure about the sizzex but guess what i just got a cuttlebug too yippee skippee im doing the hapy dance for sure lol cant wait to use it not many different embossing things though pick was light just had a big sale so choices were few and far between lol

oh that's wonderfull auntb,,I'm sure having fun with mine,,and bet you will too..need more folders tho,I want the dot one did you get that one
oh and ginny I think Musgy over on hgtv had said you can use the sizzix with cuttlebug embosser,,but you may need another part,,I will check on the other board to see what it was called,lol
ok this is what musgy said

oh and deb,,,I wonder if you could just use the kiddie one same as the big on instead of having to go out and buy a new one,?
I sure wish my grandkids lived closer,your very lucky
,I know when mine were here last summer I kept them busy doing crafts,,lol

I dont think the embossed plates will fit the cuttlekids it is only about 2 inches wide. or at least so far Ive not seen any made for it. Oh gee. That means I will have to buy a cuttlebug. what a shame, LOL

I've got the converter "thingy" so now I'll have to look for the embossing folders.
I didn't tell you but on yet another board they have monthly challenges and you win a voucher to a craft store that is on the list. Well this month I won and will get a cash voucher for $68 and I decided I would use it at ACMoore. It was a random drawing, but I've been doing this for a year and they have 3 different categories and thought I would never win.

now not sure if they sell them where you are..that is another question,,,,lol,,but if you have a sizzix am pretty sure you should be able to get the folder..which will work in your sizzix,,I think,,lol
