Hi, I am Lynn (Greenstone) and was told about this board on the HGTV message board. It is so nice to see so many familiar, talented names on this site. I am a married lady (33 years) and my husband is retired NAVY. He is now a firefighter.. getting ready for this second retirement. I have 3 grown, married children with 6 grandchildren. I take care of my mother, and (try) do commercial real estate loans. I am opening a craft/ consignment store this month, so I have been very busy. As far as crafting....
I am new to cards, I tried my first one because of the swap (by RedRooster) on the other board. It was great fun. (I actually hope to get better with time). I love to craft, mostly Holiday items ( wreaths/ glass blocks/ gift baskets) but because of all the wonderful things that everyone shares, I am now trying all sorts of new things. Thanks for allowing me to join....

In answer to your question Brooke, I do make some night light blocks, however I do not paint them. I do not paint so well... I am an "impressionist" painter.. when you see something I have painted your impression is a 6 year old did it. ;D However, I will keep practicing and I am sure that I will get the hang of it. I use graphics on the blocks, or Stencils. They turn out nice... and I do not charge much for them, so they sell well.
