Hello girls!!!! My computer is messed up again, thanks to my furbabies!!!! I just got it fixed, too! This one I am using at the moment only works when it wants. It has a mind of it's own! Hopefully, I'll get mine fixed soon, but just in case I'm not on here alot, this will be why! Believe me, I hope it's soon! This one is waaaay too sloooow! My 8 year old great nephew is here until Saturday, and he loves to craft, so he will be keeping me company tonight on New Years Eve! I don't like going out on New Years anyway! So, we will be crafting til he falls asleep, LOL, it will most likely be me that falls asleep first!!!!! Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe and awesome New Years!

Well I will be home tonight too!! We are to old for the big celebration's, but I know I will be in bed way before midnight, usually are, been year's since I have stayed up to see the New Year in. We are getting snow here, they said 8 inches, so that might curtail alot of the parties, as they are saying the road's will be dangerous. Well Lynn you and nephew will have fun crafting tonight, love to know who fall's asleep first. Hope all have a safe and wonderful New Year's. Roberta

Hi Again I did get out my polymer clay the other day and my almost 7 yr old gr. son loved that. He made all kinds of little critters-Had to convince him to make small things-just to expensive to make huge things and then it takes forever to bake them anyway.

Thanks, Brooke! I think I have it fixed now. The cats keep jumping on the keyboard and had it all messed up! The screen was just all black, then I fixed that, then the mouse wouldn't move, but I think I have it all figured out now! Ro...I think I will be the first one sleeping! Connie...We ended up shopping most of the day, so we haven't starting crafting yet, but I will let you know what he makes!! He always makes something when he's here! Everyone be safe tonight! Happy New Year to everyone!!!

Sorry, no photo's -My Grandson took everything home with him and I did not get a picture of anything he or I made. Next time I will be faster. Have not been doing much crafting, as hubby is painting the kitchen, and family room-I am trying to stay out of his way and be available to wash brushes for him. I did get my bookmark made, but that is all. I want to make something for the bare wall in my newly painted dining area. Can't decide if it will be with my pressed flowers or if it will be quilled birds. I got a pattern of a chick-a-dee that I may make up. Hate to pay out the money for quilling paper, so may try cutting my own (or bite the bullet and pay the price). I want to go to Mary Maxims and see what they have, but will wait for better weather, as it is a several hour trip away for me. Connie (got to go and wash a brush)

I have a paper cutter and a paper shredder-I will play with them both and see if I can get the right size strips-definatley cheaper than buying, but at the same time I want the prject to look nice, so if I can't get results, I will purchase the paper. Don't want to put lots of hours of work into the project and then wish I had purchased the paper already cut (nice and even and straight) -grandkids now that the two older one are almost 7 and 9 they just get grandma stuff out and create alot of the time, but they also will say, what are we making-meaning grandma come and sit and create with us. We made clothes for their Webkins once. Here is a picture of the horse and his clothes The pants were from a knit set for a doll, but we made the horse blanket and he helped pick colors and cut it and I stitched it. He was in 7th heaven. oh conniekru he is cute. What color are you painting the rooms?
I used to use a yard stick and a quilting rotary cutter to cut quilling pieces. Steady hand is all it took to get a good straight even piece. Have you tried one ? Cheaper then quilling paper. They can be sharpened on a knife block when there dull.

I have that equipment, will have to give it a try I have so many things I need to try-you would think with it being winter I would have time to catch up on all those jobs.
The rooms are yellow (moonlight yellow) and then a little softer yellow-close to an antique white for the ceiling in the family room (walls are paneled) and then on the other end of the yellow room is the entry way and upstairs entry and that also is the softer yellow. I think I like it.--at least it is fresh and clean. We burn wood and hubby is a smoker, so walls get grungy no matter how much I wash them down.
