OKAY where is everyone, only saw joesmom on here way early this morning~~~ Are you all still in bed? Been up since 5, dog's wanted out, it was still snowing and it's still doing the same only not mounting up fast. Had to shovel driveway twice myself yesterday, hubby did it with snowblower last night and again this morning, have to keep cleaning off the deck's for the dog's to go out, but then they romp in the snow and bury themselves and have a ball. We are do for more tomorrow night, like another 10 inches so they say. Yikes!!! I want summer, I need to have my winter's in Florida and my summer's in Ma. LOL Like that will ever happen. Hope all are well, safe and warm!! So rise and shine and face another day, only 5 more day's till Christmas, and boy will I be happy when this is all over and done with. Roberta

Good am friends. Please check your emails for a special message this am. Some of you have been notified by direct mail We are bracing for a storm of storms today. Coast 101 already has been shut and as several inches of snow and ice. I agree winter in the south and summer in the north. My folks loved to do that. Were hoping the silver storm does not happen. Ice that covers and breaks everything. Were to get another 10 to 15 inches of snow today..Followed by the ice storm. Some dummy took there motor cycle out onto the river ice and fell through already. Lucky they made it out alive. We have only been cold for 2 weeks . WEll friends happy day stay warm Merry Christmas.

OMG Brooke, that sound's like an awful storm, I guess I can't complain about our mere 10 inches. I just can't do this winter thing, I don't like the snow at all, and the older I get the less I like it. What is wrong with folk's, takes more then 2 week's of cold to freeze over water, I wouldn't even step one toe on the little brook down in the back. Please stay safe. Roberta

After living in upstate NY for ever and ever, we are now in NC and I don't miss the snow, and really don't miss driving in it. BUT would you believe - my husband would move back to Rochester in a minute - I just don't get it.
Be safe everyone and have a Merry Christmas

Ginny,
That is what my hubby tells me too. He lived in NY for the first 15 yrs of his life. The boys and I are always wanting snow. He tells us NO. hahaha but being from the south all my life and only getting maybe 8 inches we want more.
Yesterday I had the ac on. This morning I have the heat on. The weather here is just unreal this year. The wind is whipping around outside so hard this morning.
I will stay in today. Think I will dig out some books. I will look for Valentine's Day stuff, St. Patricks Day and Easter stuff to work on. They will be here before we know it. I put up all my Christmas books yesterday.
Have a wonderful day all.
Gwen

Good am Today we get up to reports the city is closed. Must have chains to travel the freeways and the airport is also closed down. We had snow followed last night by freezing rain. So today we have 6 inches of solid ice where we did have fluffy snow. The mailman never showed up again but by God our paper kid can and get the paper to my front step.He has snow shoes and the mail truck. Hum Well you all have a great safe day. hugs Brooke
