now here are 2 more In this one I wanted ya to see the foot of the blanket, and the rounded corner with the ridge on it. On this one you can see that it covers both the mattress and the box springs

super thanks Brooke ... I thought of doing it this way cause I got very tired of fighting Bill and rascal for the covers... lololol Bill also gave me the idea for this, cause the regular blanketswould not cover his back and stay out of his face ... sorta .. and with the way it is done it also is sized for a KING size bed and will stilll have the coverage. This is a Queen size bed ... lololol It took me about 5 months cause of the carpal tunnel, and it is done with 3 strands of yarn and the S-hook ... The colors are : Buff - Buff Fleck - Painted Desert ... Buff - Bluff fleck - Burgundy ... I am just glad to have gotten it done before the cold weather really set in .. lololol

Fantastic job. I love the colors and the fitted corners. Oh I just know thats so warm. I never have the patience to tackle large projects such as afghans or blankets. I get bored easily. Glad we got to see pics. Oh...on your potholder blankets, what do you stuff the squares with? quilt batting? That sounds interesting for sure. shelli

yes I use the quilt batting and the other one too. depends if I want it sorta flat looking or puffy looking ... lol I think that one would be a neat one for you to make .. its all single crochet, and its all the same size squares or retangles depends on how you want to make them... very easy and you can do it in colors tooo .... I mean ya can do a set of different colors for it. when I did it I did them in pink/red ... navy blue/ lite blue .. and the other can't remember now ... I did 3 of them at that time .. lolol

it is a neat take along project for travelin an crochetin ... lolol I was trying to remember ... hmmm they were all twin size... the other mite have been the red/blue hmmmmmm but it would look neat as a sorta patchwork blanket also. and doing it that way would give the corners a more square effect instead of rounded effect. I think it took like about 85 per color ?? and sooo simple to do to. but it depends on you not minding doing piece work as I called it .. lolol OR you don't really have to stuff it at all .. just the squares put together makes it really warm .. but stuffing it makes it sorta more like a quilt type .. lolol
