Computer Reminder Cleaning ::

Cleaning out HISTORY & TEMPERORY FILES :::

At the top of your screen, go to TOOLS. CLICK ON IT.
Go to : INTERNET OPTIONS. CLICK ON THAT.
A window will pop up. Where it says : BROWSING HISTORY, THERE ARE 2 BUTTONS: DELETE & SETTINGS. Click on : DELETE, another window will pop up.
Go to the bottom of that window : DELETE ALL.
Click on that.
This will delete: ALL the items listed above in that window ..
this means it is cleaning out: Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, Form Data, Passwords ... that you have used .. OK???
This means that the sites you go to you will HAVE TO SIGN INTO AGAIN. OK???
OR .. OR ..
you may click on just the temp files and the history files .. instead ..
BUT you need to do this at least once during the month. depending on how much your on the internet ... OK???
IT IS SAFE TO DELETE ALL OF THIS .. CAUSE WHEN YOU GO BACK TO YOUR REGULAR SITES YOU WILL RECEIVE IT ALL AGAIN .. EVERYTIME YOU GO TO A SITE IT GIVES IT TO YOU EACH TIME YOU GO IN THAT SITE... PERIOD !!!! OK.

thanks for the info Judy,,,I never do that unless John is here ,,I always get so confused with stuff like that,,,,,,lol..and I'm sure I need to do just that now..my Pc has been running so slow the last few days

I have posted this here. Because with all the pictures and bouncing around ckin out the sites and things. YOU will receive a cookie from everywhere you go. OK???
AND with all this if you don't do this it will cause your computer to slow down more and more as each day passessss that you don't do this .. .OK
BUT THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO THOSE THAT USE ::: THE BIG E - - INTERNET EXPLORER THAT IS.
This is just so you know .. cause it can cause pics NOT to show, or programs NOT to come up correctly.
and if you do NOT defrag it can also cause your computer to run slower, too. I mean your regular computer use. NOT the internet .. just programs you use on your regular computer..

your very welcome ... I wish when we had first gotten into computers someone would have told us .. lolol we learned again .. by trial and error .. lolol
a friend of ours when we went an visited her one day we did this for her. IT took almost all day cause she had a very large hard-drive and had the computer constantly going for like a year ... mannnnnn .. oh mannnnn .. between cleaning that and the defrag .. lololol hmmmmmmm
