I'm so glad you like them, girls! I think they are so cool! And, super easy to make! t....I feel honored that you like them so much that you put them on your blog! (Thank you!) You can put any of my things on your blog! So can the rest of you! I like to know though, so I can look it up and smile cuz it makes me all proud! LOL! (I know you are going to want to make some, t! They are selling like crazy on etsy! Not mine, cuz mine are gifts! But others like them!) Your kids/grandkids will love them! I am making some for my little nephews also! If you'd like to see the boy versions, I can post them also (let me know)! Here's the tutorial!
How to make a Washer Necklace (With names and words) Supplies Needed:
Heavy Hammer (you can use a regular one, you will just have to hit harder) Washers (whatever size you prefer) Alphabet stamp set (I got mine at Harbor Freight) Black permanent marker Baby wipe Leather, ribbon, or a chain to put the charm on
1. Take your supplies to a concrete area so you don't damage whatever is under your stamping. Pull out the letters you will be using and put them in order. Place the first letter stamp equal from the hole in the middle and the edge. Now, with the other hand, hit the stamp with the hammer 3 or 4 times (depending on how hard you hit and the weight of your hammer). 2. Keep it going with the other letters. Place the next letter by aligning the edge of the stamp with the first letter and turning a hair so it follows the curve of the washer. This may take some getting used to. Continue with each letter. 3. Once you have the letters stamped, get your permanent marker ready. Color over the letters so that the indentions are black. Once all the letters are covered, wipe with a baby wipe until you are left with black only in the letter indentions. It is easy to wipe off when they have not been sitting. 4. Now just thread your "chain" of choice through the hole and you are good to go.

Here's a pic of my Stamping Set, so that you know what I'm talking about! And, the best part is that they are on sale right now for $6.99! (Regularly $8.99, which is still a good price!) Get the 1/8" size! Item #800 on their web site! (Hope this helps!)

And here's how I made the ones with the scrapbook paper!
How to Make a Washer Necklace (With Scrapbook Paper) Things You'll Need: Washer Jewelry cording with clasps on ends (or long enough to knot and slip over head) Scrapbook paper scissors or crafting knife Mod Podge small paint brush 1.) Get your washer 2.) Select the paper with a design you like, trace your washer on the back of whatever paper you chose. 3.) Mod Podge the paper cutout of your washer tracing to the washer. Allow this to dry for 24 hours. Mod Podge the front of the paper also. Allow this to dry for 24 hours. Now you can thread the jewelry cord through and wear your new necklace! (I added beads and/or charms! Also on some of them I drilled holes for jump rings, although not necessary! Also on mine, I lightly sanded the outside and the inside hole so that it looks neater!)
Let me see what you girls make!!!!
