I dont know about the rest of you but I love all the rubber stamps they have ..but not only do you have to buy the rubber stamps..but also the inks..and they are not cheap,, There is a way around that tho..lol,,been seeing a new ideal on some blogs,,but wasnt sure what kind of pens they were using,,and still dont but s I went to town yesterday,and I ended up buying thsi cute little set of Gel-pen ,at Micheals,,reg price $14.99 on sale for $9.99 yesterday,,,so I got them,,there are 56 pen is all the tops ones have glitter in them,cool cool,, ,and Im still not sure if these are the same kind they used but I think it looks pretty dam good, I just printed out black and white drawing and after coloring it in,,I think it looks even better then ink from my printer ,and it sure will save on ink,,lol caz that isnt cheap either,lol,,on the reg pen you can use a wet paint brush to shade it in..

well strike what i just said,,even tho the flower basket turned out good,,I just did a bear ..and it didnt look as good,and then i did a santa and that was a No go,,,,lol,, maybe for small area's they work for for the bigger one no,,and it doesnt spread that good for the shading,,so I take it all back,,got to find out what kind of pens they are using,,,,,,,,,lol

love the gel pens, but here, they are mega expensive. I have a set of water colour pencils which are great once you wet them and easier than using a brush

they have so much new stuff out there,,I dont know what is what,so they have color pencils that you get wet to paint with,ok next time I'm in town got to get me a set of them,,,and try it,,,,lol

My hubby bought them for me in an art shop - you can wet them and use a brush across them, or use the wet pencil. Let me know if you do get any and how you get on with them.

I liked the looks of the gel pen on the small area. I like to use colored pencils just the regular ones I always get crayola brand as they seem to be more vivid in color than other brands although im sure if I bought the expensive artist pencils they would work even better.

The other thing is to get colouring felt tipped pens and put some in the middle, wet a paint brush and spread it - that can look really good with darker colours
