I've been working on a baby blanket, but not much else. I have made a promise to myself to try not to buy any new supplies until I use up SOME of the excess I have lying around my house.  ;D So, the blanket doesn't have a planned recipient at the moment. The only other thing I made was a pinhole viewer for my kiddo to watch the transit of Venus yesterday. How about you? |

Oh Snitch Sounds like fun. We once again were covered by clouds and unable to view the show. We had two weeks on the solar eclipse also But the day of we clouded up and could not see. Hope you got to see the show. Brooke  |

how neat snitch would love to see your blanket when through as for me I have been working in my flowers and making garden crafts I buy 1/2 dead flowers from lowes flower morgue and bring them back to life will post some more pics afterwhile

I have not been doing much just working on my comforter which I will post some pics under crochet .. so ya'll can see how far I have gotten .... lolol
and yesssssssss its really me again .. lololol ohhhhhhhhh its been so so so around here .. playing my games on fb ... crocheting ... found a recipe for MINI PIES on Betty Crocker .. have tried a couple of them .. the Hamburger with cheese ... the veggie one .. and then of course had to change them around some ... lolol
but am trying to keep busy .. not been a good few weeks for me .. but am coping .. lolol
anywayssssssssssssssssssssssssss its been super hot here the last few day ... I would say 91 - 95 is super hot .. lolol its 94 right now .. but its no cooling down much in the evening ... a/c is getting a work out for sure .. lololololo the humidity this week has not been too bad but its up there still ...
mowed the lawn this a.m. .... not all of it but most of it .. supposedly rain in the forecast as of next week again .. so gots to get it done .. grrrrrr ... lolol
anyways off to post the pics then back to crocheting more of the squares .. got about 6 maybe 7 rows yet to do will see once I get the 6 rows on it .. seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I put pics up in the crochet section .. ok .... welllllllll it was another sorcher todayyyyyyyyy ... danggggggg 95 !!!!!! humidity I think was 65 .. if not it sure felt like it .. ohhhhhh boy its gonna be a superrrrrrrrrrrrrr hot summer .. wahhhhhhhhhh ... lololololol oh well thats life huh?? .... things were on the quiet side today .. got a few more squares done .. am attempting to get these put togather so that I can get a row put together .. I have 2 skeins of brown left here would like to know just how much more do I need now .. hmmmm lolololol anywaysssssssssssss bill is home tonite .. leaves in the morning for Rocking Ham, NC ... its some camp out thingy I forget which one ... >??>  lol I need to find the pics of Victory Junction ... Morninnnnnnnnnnnnnn .... just ckin in ... been busy with the comforter/blanket ... it is going greatttttttt .. lolol
have been having servere ? storms here for the past week ... last nites was the worst .. the thunder / lightening was wayyyyyyyyyyy to close to the house ... yuckieeee .. but the rain is welcomed for sure ... wish it would come a down pour like that in NM .. they need it badly ... lol hmmmmmmm going to mainly crochet today ... attempting to get those last 6 rows done .. I have 2 ready workin on the 3rd ... but its getting there ... yesssssssss
did wake up to sunny skies this morn .. but they are saying maybe rain later .. which if I get it then it will be sometime late afternoon ... lolol

I am feeling computer challenged at the moment. I don't know exactly where this will post, but at least it is letting me add the photos.
The blanket is crocheted and the sweater is knitted.
It will be 100 again today and in the upper 90s the rest of the week. Tanker planes go overhead from time to time flying to fight the forest fire. The air is smoky and stings the eyes depending on which way the wind is blowing. One of my friends is on pre-evacuation notice and has been for a couple of days now. It's hard to imagine that they only predict 100% contaiment by JULY 16. We have never had a wildfire this close to us in all the years I have lived here. We aren't in any danger, though.
