Nice job Vikki - The diaper cakes are really cute, but thank heavens - I don't need one. We are now working on great nieces/nephews (and thank heavens - no grandbabies at this time) having babies and one of those cakes looks like too much work. It will be a huge hit at the shower.

oh chickadee love it and roight after you told us you had a baby shower to do they asked me to do one at work for one of the guys there ugggggggggg im gonna attempt a diaper cake also but hope mine is half as good as yours huggies im putting pedialyte in the middle of mine huggies auntb

oh rooster it is beautifull!! you did real good,and you will be the hit at the party...I have seen other put the shreded paper on each layer and I just love the look of it,,,,I have never did a cake that big so not sure if it will fit are not,but I always get the bags at the dollar store,,and use a blow dryer on it which will make the bag form to the cake,,but like I said your looks huge,,lol so not sure if it will work A++++

tmarie... it is on the huge side only contains 104 diapers.....but I know from having children you will use them all......thanks for all the kind words...now I just got to do the cake and the watermelon baby buggy and I'll be finished....

oh I did a water mellon buggy for sandy' baby shower,,turned out really cute!!,,man you are one busy little beaver!! I have no ideal how you do it woman..when do you rest???!!

Hey grand... good luck on making your cake..... but just a little tip that I learned after finishing mine...... instead of taking a blue or pink ribbon and tieing each diaper, look for small clear rubber bands to use, then after that I did you the elastic that you put in making shorts around it and used a glue gun to secure it then add your ribbon.........

It is really nice and ideal for a shower gift. I have made a couple in the past. I don't sell them at the markets as you have to put to higher price on to cover your costs and make a small profit as all the nappy's and things add up. But the do make an great gift for a newborn .
