Sewing dolls clothes and doing other things for the markets. It is our summer season over here so had our air con going today, We only just got it two weeks before Xmas and it is the best thing i have ever bought. It is a tropical climate here so our summers are long so you get good use out of an air con. It is so nice to not be so hot and uncomfortable. Well it is nearing 10pm Friday evening here so i am heading off to bed. Catch you all over the weekend.

Sweet Dreams, We too have to use our ac a long time. I am in south TX. And my oh my it gets hot here in Dec too. I can't stand it. It didn't bother me until I moved away from the heat and humidity. Now that I have returned to it. Man oh man it drives me nuts. haha

I envy you ladies in the heat; because as Kathy said we have below or at 0 degrees here in Ohio today. BURRRR. A good day for crafting after the gas man delivers gas for my wall hung stove in the craft room. The gas ran out for the stove in that room last weekend and it is too cold to work in that room without some heat. But the sun is shinning bright so it makes the day pretty.

Yesterday guys we had -20 and I won't even mention the wind chill! Talk about cold. We are in Wis. and in the summer we deal with heat and humidity so we also hav AC. Doing a lot of crafting and cleaning with this cold weather. Today we're suppose to get 6 inches of snow but at least it won't be so cold. donna

I LOVE where I live in Colorado, especially where I live in my town. It's pretty dry here and you don't have a lawn if you don't water, but . . . . . . Although we have hot spells in the summer, we don't have the humidity because it IS dry. I grew up in PA and I remember miserable nights in the summer when I felt like it was almost too hot to breathe. We even sacked out on the floor downstairs in the living room with only the locked storm door protecting us in the hope of catching a little breeze.
Our weather is very changeable and although we may have a very cold snap in the single digits for several days about once, maybe twice, in the winter, generally if we have a cold day it is at least 20 degrees warmer the next. It is supposed to be in the 50's all weekend and around 60 Monday and Tuesday. When it snows, it is all melted in a day or two. Where I live that means only a few inches. The mountains, of course, are another matter.
It's really early here. Don't know why I am up on a day when I don't have to work.
