Just heard on tv there was a terrible accident in Boston little while ago, firetruck lost control and the ladder truck went into a building, don't know if it was ice or if the brake's failed, so far one firefighter dead, other's injured and people trapped in the building or under the truck they think. Please keep these folk's in your thought's and prayer's as well as their families. Such a sad thing to have happen, and this is what I live with day after day, when my son leave's for work. His life is alway's on the line day after day, I give out a sign of relief when he arrive's home and thank god every day for his safety. Roberta

Will keep them all in our prayers. My brother-in-law was a police officer for over 30 years, and we all felt the same way every day he went to work.

We are waiting for the name of the deceased, we don't know if he was one of the guy's from the academy that work's there on their day's off and if my son know's him. He just got home from a wake for an older fellow firefighter, at least this gentlemen made it to die of natural causes at 90 year's of age, God bless him!! Roberta

Well they found that the brake's on the truck were faulty, my son has heard of him, but didn't know him. Still it is a loss of a brother, no doubt will go to the wake. The other firefighter is still critical condition, and four children were taken to the hospital but all the rest only had scrath and bruises. thank's for asking redrooster and thank's for all the thought's and prayer's from you girl's for the families. Roberta

Vickie, yes I think you do know how I feel about my son, my hubby was also in security for many year's and that too was a worry, my son being a captain here on our local fire department is a constant worry. Thank's for the thought's and prayer's for these families at this time of sorrow. Roberta
