Well ladies... I just wanted to let you all know that it was a big hit this year... I had lots of fun, and my hubby couldn't believe that I had 42 folks from the age of 19 to 73, in my back yard doing a Christmas pie walk... (it's like musical chairs but only using paper plates decorated as pies). and then I had a Christmas savanger hunt with the ladies using there purses ( I put items in my purse and if everyone had the item in theirs they got so many points and the person with the most points won a prize. and we also had the yearly story of Crossy and Lefty... which is a story and every time they heard the word Once or One they had to pass the present two places to the right and if they heard Lefty or Left they passed the present to the left once, and if they heard right they passed the present to the right, and if they heard Crossy or Cross they passed the present across the circle... and it was just a joy to watch them all smile all night long... and then we did unwrap the present ( which is I took a slow cooker and wrapped it several times with many layers of paper but using duct tape on some layers) then they had to roll the dices and if they got a (7) they had to put on a jacket with a scraf and then two oven mittens and try to open the present while the dice were still moving around the table and when some one else rolled a 7 they had to take off the jacket and scraf and mitten for that person to put it on and try to open the present till it was completely unwrapped... and then we had a pool tournament with lots of grocery to eat...

Sounds like the kind of parties we had a few years ago. Got together with the same group for 25+ years. Played some crazy games too - The Broom Dance (similar to musical chairs) HO-HO, and This is a Dog/This is a Cat - played with a spoon and fork. Glad all your hard work (and you sure did work) was enjoyed by many. Now you had better put your feet up and rest or play with your new toys. Going to have to watch for sales for the Cricut cartridges.
